Welcome
back to the second installment of JEMS' mini series focusing on secondary markets during the Darkness On The Edge Of
Town tour, upgraded from low generation tapes & reels out of the CB Archives.

We had planned an upgrade
to the June 9th Milwaukee show as the second release but unfortunately father time has caught up to the second reel and
the last 6 songs are currently unusable. We are searching the archives for another low gen source that matches the
excellent quality of the first reel and hope to be able to bring that release to you at a later date. 

We are
pleased to offer in its place the outstanding November 12th show in Troy, NY.

Previous releases include a
2008 tape transfer and the silver CD "Live In Troy" on I Had A Dream Records wich runs fast, this release
should be considered a major material upgrade and take its place as one of the top quality audience captures of the
tour.

CB received the 1st gen reel directly from the taper (BF) who was not a big trader so there were a very
limited amount of low gen versions in circulation, we are very fortunate this has held up so well over the last 38
years.

There are many highlights in this show, not only do we get 'High School Confidential' opening the show
and 'Rave On' opening the second set, Bruce absolutely attacks and destroys the intro and outro solos to 'Prove It All
Night'. Add to that gorgeous versions of the yet to be released 'Independence Day' and 'Point Blank' and you have the
making of a top notch Darkness show.
All vocals, backup vocals and instrumentation come through loud and clear.

Possibly being overshadowed by the FM broadcasts that come before and after it or due to being in a secondary
market, this show seems to be an after thought when considering the best shows of the tour.  We hope this release will
have you thinking twice about where to rank it in context of the complete tour.

"With little doubt left in the minds of those in attendance, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band once again
proved as they do every night that they are the best live band in the world. It is rare that a band can provide such an
uplift,  but it is nice to be able to say once again you can believe in the magic of rock 'n' roll."
